Hey All! What a fantastic Tuesday. Our fashion magazine at school, FAD Magazine, took a trip to the Teen Vogue Offices!
This wonderful opportunity came about when Alice and our friend Magica attended a Teen Vogue-sponsored event at the Louis Vuitton store in NYC last month. In a room full of editors and celebrities, Alice was able to speak with Amy Astly, Editor-In-Cheif, and Eva Chen, the Beauty and Health Director for Teen Vogue. Eva graciously offered Alice to set up a visit so that FAD staff could come and take a tour of the office and learn about the production of the magazine. It was truly an amazing experience and we definitely learned a lot.

When asked what advice she would give to budding writers/artists/designers/fashionistas, Eva said to do what you love. Practice with everything that you can! This includes a blog (check!), a school magazine, newspaper, yearbook, etc. Yet, don't be afraid to try other things. Absorb everything and anything that you can and enjoy it all!
